Aegis Engineering, Inc. (AEI) is a full service, veteran owned, engineering firm located in Parker, Colorado. AEI specializes in civil and structural design.    With a full team of Architects, Landscape Designers, and Engineers there isn’t a project that we can not handle.

EXPERIENCE:

Civil

AEI uses the latest AutoCAD Civil program to provide accurate site and roadway designs.  These designs include half acre sites for a national auto parts store to the $8 million expansion of roadway and infrastructure for Buckley Air Force Base located in Aurora, Colorado. 

AEI offers experience in storm collection systems for commercial and retail sites as well as roadways.  For large areas, full flood analysis can be provided using several methods including HEC-RAS and CUHP.  AEI is knowledgeable of the latest Urban Drainage & Flood Control District (UDFCD) manuals and details for Best Management Practices (BMP’s).  AEI is experienced in various types of detention facilities and outlet works.

AEI can provide detailed plan and profile designs for various collection (storm and sanitary sewer) and distribution systems (water).  Reports on estimated demands and the capacity of existing infrastructure can be produced for which recommendations for storage and treatment can be provided.  Cost analysis, feasibility studies, construction observations, and project management can also be provided. 

Commercial/ Retail:

AEI’s commercial and retail structural experience includes a countertop fabrication shop consisting of pre-fabricated steel structure, an enclosure of a retail center that consisted of multiple structures, and a masonry addition of a national insurance company.  Our experience and knowledge of differing construction materials allows us to provide cost effective designs as well as meeting the desires of our clients.

Residential:

AEI’s residential structural experience includes small additions and basement remodels, 35,000 square foot dream homes, and multi-family dwelling units.  We can provide full design plans to make the vision and construction of a desired project come to reality.  3-dimensional renderings can be provided to allow the client a clear view of how their project will look upon completion.  Lighting and windows can be placed in computer space for analysis to eliminate the guesswork of needed natural and artificial lighting.

Forensics:

AEI has experience in providing forensic engineering in several States to help determine the cause of structural failures.  Clients have included national insurance agencies, real estate agents, and property owners.  Clients have used our services to determine the causes for foundation cracks, the adequacy of original designs, and the plausibility of submitted insurance claims.
